Who has never had conspiratorial thoughts about a situation or an uncontrolled event? Every day, new theories appear and spread, especially on social medias. The Earth is flat, reptilians dominate the world, Brigitte Macron is a man, the Covid-19 vaccine is infested with 5G chips, etc…  Some of these theories make one smile, others dismay but all question our ability to think too much or not enough…

With humour, discernment and perspective, this documentary tries to show and dismantle the mechanisms at work: shortcuts, fallacious associations, sweeping judgments.

Testimonies of specialists, assumed conspiracy theorists, temperature measurements in the street, this film wants to question while entertaining and give a voice to each and everyone even if the dialogue is sometimes complicated. Will the director survive this? Nothing is less certain, as the poison of doubt and conspiracy proliferates in every corner and shakes the foundations of our living together, to the point of questioning our democratic system.

Tous complotistes ! ? (2025) is part of a documentary trilogy started with two previous films, Les Cons, une espèce presque rare (2018) and Préjugés, bienvenue au pays des idées reçues (2023). A work that seeks to sketch the human psyche and question the ties that unite us.
